How to get rid of a cold sore
What are cold sores?Cold sores are painful blisters which occur around the mouth and are directly caused by the herpes simplex virus.
What can trigger a cold sore?
Although the virus which causes cold sores is normally dormant, cold sores can appear at any time and usually follow the tell tale "tingle" on the lip area. The resulting blister is both unattractive and uncomfortable and can last as long as a week.
